If you are trying to connect Aweber and clickfunnels and you are running into problems this post will help you. I have been getting a lot of inquiries about Aweber and Clickfunnels integration and some errors. I want to first say, I will always support Aweber as they have consistently been a good email autoresponder provider. Also Aweber integration with clickfunnels is the easiest and without problems in most cases.

How to Connect Aweber with Clickfunnels

What I have found in connecting Aweber to Clickfunnels is the errors that I am seeing when I attempt to opt in to this funnel is not submitting. This is the first indication of a problem. However, when I was able to gain access to clickfunnels and Aweber I was quickly able to see that either the integration was not completed within the account menu, the integration was not completed within the funnel, or there was not a SIGN UP form and list built in Aweber yet.

To properly integrate clickfunnels and Aweber you need to make sure to start with Aweber. The first thing that you will do is to create a sign up form. Unless you plan on using the embed code within clickfunnels (in which case you will not need to complete the integration) you should just use a simple template.

Next, you will create your list that you will attach new subscribers to. Once this is done you can then connect with clickfunnels. The integration is really easy to complete as you simply allow clickfunnels to connect to Aweber, unlike mailchimp where you will need to create an API key.

Common Trouble Shooting Issues in Connect Aweber to Clickfunnels

  1. No Sign Up Form or choosing incorrect signup form.
  2. No List has been created or choosing incorrect list.
  3. A new list or form has been created however the API has not been refreshed Settings>Integrations>Refresh List From API
  4. Integration is not set up under Account Settings.

In every case where I was consulted on clickfunnels set up I found that each of the above issues were found. Once I corrected them the opt in worked correctly.

On a side note: If you are worried about your confirmation email going to spam as some do with certain email providers you can easily add a video version to the confirmation process. This way when they opt in they will be take directly to a video that shows them to check them email and confirm their subscription.

There are usually a few different ways to troubleshoot a problem with clickfunnels and in most cases contacting me is much cheaper than thinking about the problem. In today’s case the client was interested in setting up a zoom interview to test my abilities to correct the problem. I sent him a bill for that time but he quickly decided to have me fix the issue. I am by far the most affordable of clickfunnels consultants and experts. As always, I would love to hear some of your integration issues. Drop me a line and let me know what you have been up against.
